Disused Schoolhouse -1941

All over our island, we have abandoned schools dotted everywhere. I've been in many but never one from this era to still have some furniture. There were two classrooms and they still have the old wooden desks and you could still see where the inkpot used to sit.

I was totally thrown back to the early 1900s and could imagine the kids dressed in their blazers and boys in shorts. Girls in one room and boys in the other. The blackboards still hang on the wall where the teachers would have given lessons and handed out the homework 🎒
